Set up in 90 seconds

After you sign in to AImetier at app.aimetier.com, first-time users are sent to a short guided setup. It walks you from your company profile and website/social links to a selected AI team and your very first conversation — in about 90 seconds. Returning users who have already onboarded go straight to the workspace instead of seeing /welcome again.

In short

• You give your company name, priorities, and optional website/social links; AImetier suggests an industry, use cases, and a business-context preview.
• Everything it suggests is editable — nothing is locked in.
• You select one or more AI teammates, or a ready-made company blueprint. AImetier derives the lead automatically from the selected roles, such as CEO, CTO, CMO, or specialist profiles.
• A 5-step checklist keeps the rest simple: tell us about your work, pick a teammate/team, launch them, ask for your first piece of work, connect a tool (optional).
• No card. No connecting your email. Nothing gets sent without your OK.

Walk through the setup

Describe your company

Enter your company name, paste optional website or social links, and choose the work you want help with — for example, lead generation, content production, customer support, or operations automation. Then tap Looks right.

After a few seconds, AImetier reads your inputs and proposes an industry, use cases, and brand/business context from the links you provided.

Review what we picked up — and tweak anything

Check the suggested industry, needs, and business-context preview. You can edit the brand description, audience, offer, tagline, archetype, and palette before choosing a team.

Select your first team

We show recommended AI employees ranked for your work. Select one or more teammates from the gallery, or switch to a ready-made blueprint. You do not choose the lead manually: AImetier derives the lead and reporting lines from the selected roles.

Land in your first chat

After a brief “getting ready” moment, AImetier creates the company, provisions the selected agents, seeds the business knowledge from your profile/links, and lands you in a live conversation with the role-derived lead. Say hello and ask for your first small piece of work.

You’ll know it worked when you’re in a chat and your teammate replies to your first message.

The getting-started checklist

While you set up, a small Getting started checklist tracks your progress and stays handy afterward:

1. Tell us about your work — the company profile and links you entered.
2. Pick a teammate/team — select one or more AI employees or a blueprint.
3. Launch your team — done the moment you land in chat.
4. Ask for your first piece of work — your “do one small thing now” win.
5. Connect a tool (optional) — link a tool later when you’re ready.

Do one small thing now. The best first move is step 4: send a real message to your lead teammate. Try something concrete like “Draft a follow-up email to a client who asked for a renovation quote — let me review it before anything goes out.”

Good to know

Everything the setup suggests — your industry, needs, brand context, and starting team — is just a helpful starting point. You can edit it during setup and change all of it later. Nothing is locked in.

Nothing in setup sends a message, charges a card, or connects your email. Ask before sending is ON; nothing goes out without your OK. Your teammates also check each other’s work before calling it done, so quality is built in.

What if it isn’t working?

If setup stalls or behaves unexpectedly, check these first:

1. The reply is taking a while — reading your sentence takes a few seconds; give it a moment before retrying.
2. The suggested industry looks off — that’s fine, just tap the chip to fix it; setup never blocks you on it.
3. You can’t launch the team — make sure at least one teammate card is selected first (it highlights when chosen).
4. You picked the wrong teammate — no problem; you can hire, pause, or change teammates anytime from your roster afterward.
5. The setup screen won’t load — refresh the page; your progress is saved, so you’ll resume where you left off.

FAQ

Do I need a credit card to set up?

No. You can complete setup and start working without a card. No card, no connecting your email, and nothing gets sent without your OK.

What if I picked the wrong goal or teammate?

Nothing is locked in. You can edit your details and add, pause, or change teammates anytime after setup — start with whatever feels closest.

Can I change the setup later?

Yes. Your company profile, selected teammates, connected tools, and business knowledge can all be changed later from the Portal.

Will my teammate send anything during setup?

No. Setting up and chatting never sends an email, message, or booking on its own. Anything outbound waits for your approval first.

I joined from an invite link — is this different?

Slightly. If you arrived via an invite link, code, or QR, see Joining with an invite — the steps are nearly the same.
