Notifications

Decide what AImetier tells you about — a teammate finishing a task, a decision waiting on your OK, a reply in a chat — and how you’d like to hear it. This page is a quick reference to every switch you’ll find under Settings > Notifications.

In the Portal, open Settings, then choose the Notifications tile (“Notification preferences”). You’ll land on a short list of switches with a back arrow to return to Settings at any time.

Settings > Notifications — channels at the top, notification types below.

The page, top to bottom:

  1. Browser Notifications and Email Notificationshow you hear about things.
  2. A divider, then a Notification Types heading.
  3. Four type switches — what you hear about.

Each switch turns green when it’s on. Flip it and it saves right away — you can leave the page immediately.

These two switches choose the way a notification reaches you.

Browser Notifications

Shows a desktop pop-up for important events while you have the Portal open. Turn this on if you’d like a nudge on your screen without checking the Portal yourself. Your browser may ask for permission the first time.

Email Notifications

Sends an email when your teammates are active. Turn this on to stay in the loop when you’re away from the Portal. Turn it off if your inbox is getting busy.

Under Notification Types, choose which events are worth a notification.

Switch You’ll be told when…
Agent completed task a teammate finishes something you asked for.
Agent needs attention a teammate needs your input or a decision before it can go on.
Thread reply someone replies in one of your chats.
Weekly summary a once-a-week digest of what your teammates got done.

If you’re getting too many notifications, you don’t have to turn everything off. Tune it:

  • Too many emails? Turn off Email Notifications and rely on the Portal — your Needs attention (À traiter) list is always there when you open it.
  • Only want the important ones? Keep Agent needs attention on and turn off Thread reply and Weekly summary.
  • Want a calm weekly catch-up instead of live pings? Turn off the live types and keep just Weekly summary.

Nothing you turn off stops your teammates from working — it only changes what reaches you.

The Needs attention (À traiter) connection

Section titled “The Needs attention (À traiter) connection”

Notifications are how you hear about things. The Needs attention (À traiter) page is where those things actually live — it gathers every decision waiting on you in one place: approvals your teammates raised (like a new hire or a budget change) and board actions flagged on the work itself. Even with every notification switched off, that page still shows what’s waiting, with Approve and Reject buttons right there.

The Needs attention (À traiter) page collects every decision waiting on your OK.

For the day-to-day flow of approving and rejecting, use the Needs attention page.

  1. No desktop pop-ups? Your browser may have blocked them. Turn Browser Notifications on here, then allow notifications when your browser asks (check the lock icon in the address bar if you missed the prompt).
  2. Not getting emails? Confirm Email Notifications is on, and check your spam folder. The email address is the one you signed up with.
  3. A switch flipped back after a refresh? That’s rare — switches save instantly. Flip it once more; if it still won’t stick, refresh and try again.
  4. Quieter than expected? Notifications are still being rolled out, so some channels may not deliver yet. Your Needs attention (À traiter) page always shows what’s waiting, so you’ll never miss a decision even if a notification doesn’t arrive.

Still stuck? See Getting help.

If I turn off notifications, will my teammates stop working?

No. These switches only change what reaches you. Your teammates keep working, and anything waiting on your OK still appears on the Needs attention (À traiter) page.

Do I have to press Save?

No — every switch saves the moment you flip it. There’s no Save button on this page.

What's the difference between this page and Needs attention (À traiter)?

This page sets how and what you’re notified about. The Needs attention (À traiter) page is where the actual decisions waiting on you live, with Approve and Reject buttons.

Will turning off 'Agent needs attention' let work happen without me?

No. It only quiets the notification. Nothing gets sent or finalized without your OK — that protection is always on, separate from these switches.

Can I get just a weekly summary and nothing else?

Yes. Turn off the live types (completed task, needs attention, thread reply) and keep Weekly summary on.
